The TMN model represents a general model of management functions OSI model compliant. It represents the “net inside the net”, having the task to make the infrastructure (and related services) work. For such complex of functionality’s, A.S.C. flexibility and its engineering capability to deal with a multivendor environment, are highly strategic.
Mostly used platforms are:
- HP OV TeMIP, software platform to manage net and services, widely spread in Telco industries;
- HP NNM, framework for apparatus management SNMP;
- IBM Netcool;
- Factory Link by Siemens.
